“Living Art” Gallery’s collection presents variety of timeless oil paintings, watercolors, and drawings from the middle of the nineteen-seventies to present time. Collection varied by diversity of styles in which artists work during their lives. Early paintings reflect poetic filling of nature. Here are some paintings for your viewing. Moonlighting in the “Night” brings illusion of real night on the river. The technique of mixing asphalt painting with oil helped the author to get this effect, which was adapted from famous Ukrainian artist Arhip Kuindgi. Another oil painting, “On Nerli” is one of numerous quick works from nature, which author created by traveling during all of her life. It is a very peaceful painting, which reflects a special relationship to this historical place. Oil painting, “White Flowers” represents one of the poetic still life pieces, in which pions (japan rose) are almost alive and their petals ready to fly if some wind occurs. Large strokes of paintbrush and skillful composition with the sun playing on leaves, lets the viewer have an illusion of this small wind, which could change this flowers life. All the painting was made in a silver color, which was mixed from all plainair’s colors (Warm from a sky and cold from a floor). |
